It’s the last day of March!

I can’t believe the first three months of 2021 are finally over and now that we’ve got that out of the way, I’ll list down the books I recently got and I’m hoping to read in the near future.

Wanting a clean slate, I made new Netgalley and Edelweiss Accounts to start fresh with my review ratios. Obviously, I have to be a little picky with requesting only the books I really aim to review and that’s what I did.

Netgalley & Edelweiss Review Copies 📚

So I’ve got a bunch of review copies from Netgalley and Edelweiss so that’s what I’m planning to burn through this weekend. My own paced readathon, heh! I hope I get to finish at least two books over the course of this weekend.

Books I Bought 💰

So like any other impulsive buyer, I checked out my Shopee cart from Fully Booked.

two books on a table

I got The Project by Courtney Summers and The Ex Talk by Rachel Lynn Solomon. As I previously mentioned in one of my earlier posts that I was really excited to read these two so I grabbed the chance to buy these while there were available stocks.

Books were getting harder (and more expensive) to acquire now don’t know what happened during the last couple of years 😢

I still have some books left in my Amazon Cart but that’s going to be another story, soon-ish? I haven’t really tried to buy physical books off of Amazon but if that’s going to be one of the options then maybe I’ll bite the bullet sometime. 😂

Reading Update 📖

I’m currently listening to Perfect on Paper by Sophie Gonzales as I’m writing this post and I’m loving it so much! This is my first Sophie Gonzales novel, but I think I have a copy of Only Mostly Devastated and I should check that out some time.

On the physical side, I’m also currently reading Dokkaebi (Vicious Spirits) by Kat Cho. I totally forgot how much fun it felt reading Kat’s amazing worldbuilding so I’m really enjoying the ride!

Let’s Talk!

  • Which books have you recently acquired?
  • Have you read any titles from the ones I’ve shared?
  • What are you currently reading right now?

  1. I got the ARC of You’ve Reached Sam too and I can’t wait to read it! I also got a few other Arcs I am really excited for – Zara Houssain is Here, Ace of Spades, etc. I just finished Perfect on Paper and really liked it! Hope you do too!

  2. I’m currently bingeing Sarah J. Maas books! I never was genuinely interested in them years ago, and… now I know why, but I’m not the type to give up on a series. 🤡 Sunny Song Will Never Be Famous sounds interesting! I read Suzanne Park’s other book, The Perfect Escape, last year and it was cute.
