April Feels Day today! I missed attending book eve April Feels Day today! I missed attending book events and chatting with about books in person 😂

I snapped this (calmly even though I’m dying from kilig lol) from a live reading of Your Heart, To Go by @tarafrejas, aka my favorite story from What If We Fall In Love?

Testing out new Lightroom presets, so I snapped a Testing out new Lightroom presets, so I snapped a photo of one of the books in my tbr and a cup of coffee from my favorite neighborhood café.

I bought Crying in H Mart last year from Fully Booked but I never really got to read it. Heck, I even got it out of its plastic just today! 😂

But I think it’s time to finally dive into this. I now find comfort in reading books that deals with parent loss, it helps me cope with my own.

❤️ Like if you agree!

Whenever I run errands, I always drop by the bookstore to check new titles. Sometimes I buy books, but most of the time I just stare at the shelves. 🥰

“Whether to pique a reader’s curiosity or stir “Whether to pique a reader’s curiosity or stir a nation into a revolt, a story must always have the power to move.”

- Blaise Campo Gacoscos

I had the opportunity to attend the launch for KITES IN THE NIGHT by Blaise Campo Gacoscos last Saturday.

This book is one of the few local titles that centers on a queer main character, and I’m excited to read it!

Thank you so much for graciously signing my copy (and for the yummy ensaymada), @blaisegacoscos and to @thehailmira of Ateneo Press for bringing this book into my radar!
